Custom Farming
Southwest Family Farms offers custom farming services to landowners and farming operations across southwest Kansas. With five generations of experience, modern equipment, and a commitment to doing the job right, we treat every acre we custom farm with the same care we give our own ground.
Custom Harvesting
Our modern combine fleet is equipped with the latest precision harvesting technology, including yield mapping and moisture sensing. We harvest corn, wheat, milo, soybeans, and cotton efficiently and with minimal field loss — getting your crop out of the field at the right time.
Custom Planting
Planting is one of the most critical operations of the season. Our planters are equipped with variable-rate seeding capability, allowing us to adjust populations across the field based on soil type and productivity zones. We plant on time, at the right depth, and at the right population.
Custom Spraying
Timely and accurate application of herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides is essential to protecting your crop investment. Our sprayers cover ground quickly and apply inputs precisely, reducing drift and overlap while ensuring complete coverage across your fields.
Tillage & Field Preparation
Proper seedbed preparation sets the stage for a successful crop. We offer a range of tillage services — from deep ripping to finish work — tailored to your soil type, crop rotation, and agronomic goals. We work with you to develop a tillage program that fits your operation.
